Yes, if you have followed my ‘writings’ at all, you will know that I am a bleeding heart liberal that becomes emotionally involved in any and all circumstances when someone is oppressed, hurt or wronged. It is not that I am either for or against the employer or employee….I want the employee to do their job to the best of their ability within the confines of a ‘free’ society and I want the employer to be fair, honest and open with their employees, contractors, products and/or services as well as the manner the products or services are presented to society. That is it. Expectations run high on both sides of my equation….I do expect employers to be honest about how they run their business and honest with their employees at all times. I expect the same from employees….however, it doesn’t always happen this way….
Employers and employees have differing ways of how they respond to challenges….however, nothing is so egregious as terrorism in any way, shape or form and the world has way too much at the moment. ISIS not only causes immense heartbreak with families the world over for its horrific behavior but it also affects how the world functions. Many individuals will be devastated for years to come by these actions but this will also have a lasting impact on businesses, trade/commerce, labor, etc. The more ISIS gets away with these actions, the more the world is less stable….not only from a political point but an economic perspective as well.
Let all of us please pray/meditate in silence for those affected directly or indirectly by those atrocities in Paris and the rest of the world. Let’s also hope that the good and wonder of the Islamic religion will overcome these fanatics who feel that the path of horror is the only way to go….
Tomorrow I will be writing another BLOG about faulty labor and employment practices around the world. Please contact Rosanne Bennett at info@scbhrserv.com or 484-798-1236 if you have any questions.
