Why does Nurses week begin on a Wednesday and end on a Tuesday? Nurses week begins on May 6th each year and ends on May 12th each year….Florence Nightingale’s birthday. In 1993, the American Nurses Association Board of Directors designated beginning in 1994 that these dates would be celebrated as National Nurses Week each successive year.
I’ve been posting on Facebook a number of celebratory comments, however, I thought it quite appropriate to say ‘thank you’ to the nurses who have been in my employ over the past 20 months as well as those that SCB has been instrumental in helping find permanent positions. I, especially, want to thank all those nurses who have supported me personally since I started this business. Your positive encouragement has been the reason that I am able to write this.
It has been a pleasure and an honor to be able to call you ‘friends’.
