After taking many different paths and reaching various destinations throughout my life, I officially started SCB Services, LLC, a Health Care Staffing and Human Resources company back in July of 2013. As those who know me well will attest, I have a passion for helping individuals in the workplace along with a sincere aversion for managers and business owners whose ideals and plans are self serving. I also have a passion for helping individuals and organizations reach their professional goals, as long as those goals are ethical, moral, and legal. Please take the time to review the website of SCB Services, LLC and peruse the list and types of staffing that SCB Services, LLC handles as well as the types of Human Resources consulting that SCB Services, LLC is qualified to do.
On this blog, I hope to cover a variety of topics that relate directly to SCB Services, LLC and the people and companies that SCB Services, LLC is designed to benefit. I have a list of many topics to cover—including the “temporary or contingent” worker, the Affordable Care Act and its implications for health care workers and medical facilities, ethics in the workplace, and recent developments in Human Resources management—for I have an opinion on all of them. The goal is to release these blogs a few times per week with the intention of providing a practical understanding of these and other relevant issues from the perspective I’ve developed through nearly a lifetime working in Human Resources. What better a venue to reach a variety of people than a web site created by and for a single seed or idea!
As this blog progresses, if you have a topic that interests you that I have not addressed, please contact me via firstname.lastname@example.org and I will do my best to answer any questions you have or include your topic/concern in a future writing. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to writing these blogs for your insight and enjoyment!
